The delete loan feature, an entire loan can be deleted with all its transactions. A loan can be fully deleted even if it has been fully repaid, pending repayments, pending disbursement, pending Commissions or pending Approval.
How to Delete an Overdraft
To delete an overdraft you go to Loan/Delete loan entries/Delete Loan a screen like the one below shows up:
- From the displayed scroll window, click on the loan number that should be deleted.
- Enter a reason why the selected loan is being deleted in the Reason: text box.
- Click on the Delete button to have the loan deleted.
- Loan Performer displays a message box like the one below
Click on the yes button to delete the loan.
The "View Transactions" under Accounting/ GL transaction/Transactions will indicate the loan was deleted
The Deleted Loans/Repayments Report under Loans/Portfolio Reports/Analysis Reports/Deleted Loans/Repayments Report will also indicate the loan was deleted.
